What are the differences between the four kinds
of Sesmark crackers?
Sesmark offers four different varieties of cracker,
each with several variations.

Are any Sesmark crackers gluten free?
The four Sesmark Rice Thins are produced with rice
flour and they contain no wheat, so there is no
gluten added. However, these rice crackers are
manufactured in a facility where wheat is used
in the production of other items. All production
lines are thoroughly cleaned between manufacturing
runs. For this reason, we do not claim they are
gluten free, just that there are no ingredients
in the product that contain gluten. For your convenience,
we list all ingredients on our packaging and in
the product section of the website.
What is the shelf life of Sesmark?
It varies with the type of cracker. Most have a shelf
life of nine months, although the Sesame Thins range have a shelf life of seven
months.
How should I store Sesmark crackers?
Sesmark crackers should be stored in a cool, dry
place. They do not require refrigeration.
Are Sesmark crackers natural?
All Sesmark crackers are all-natural. This means
that they contain NO artificial flavors, NO artificial
colors, NO preservatives,
On some of the ingredient statements, it says there
is "natural flavor". What does that mean?
Our Natural flavor is a wheat-free soy sauce.
What is the source of the maltodextrin in Sesmark?
Maltodextrin is from a corn source.
What is Whole Grain and why is this important?
Whole grains include grains like wheat, corn, rice,
oats, barley, quinoa, sorghum, spelt, rye - when
these foods are eaten in their "whole" form
(more on that later). Eating whole grains has been
shown to reduce the risks of heart disease, stroke,
cancer, diabetes and obesity. Health experts, including
the FDA, advise that grains are a healthy necessity
in every diet, and that it's important to eat at

All Sesmark crackers are made with good grains including

with enough whole grains to qualify for the whole

What is MSG and is there MSG in Sesmark?
Monosodium glutamate is a flavor enhancer and an
additive in foods. It used to be that monosodium
glutamate (MSG) was primarily found in Asian foods
as a flavor enhancer, but its use is now widespread.
MSG looks like white crystals like that of salt. No, there is no MSG in any Sesmark cracker. Some
ingredients used in the crackers, such as yeast
extract, are naturally high in amino acids including
naturally occurring glutamic acid which is a component
of MSG. The FDA does not require that these products
be labeled as containing MSG. Anyone with a severe
sensitivity to MSG may want to consider whether
they choose to consume these types of products.

Are Sesmark crackers suitable for vegans?
Most Sesmark crackers are fine for those following
a vegan diet. The exceptions, which contain some
dairy ingredients are:

What is a food allergy?
